    3. Hi, I hope I can help you with this information that is in my family. My gggrandparents were as follows: Israel Mayberry married to Catherine Haas of Hampshire County, Virginia (now WV) on March 27, 1827. Her father and mother was named Peter and Mary Haas, they lived in Hampshire Co., Va. My ggrandpa Israel was living in the household of John & Sarah Cooper and not far away his children (I assume) were living in the household of their (again I assume since they are Mayberry's and their mother assumed to be Catherine and the daughter of Peter and Mary). The children were named as follows Mary age 21, Thomas age 19, Sarah age 13 and this was on the 1850 Census of Hampshire County, Va. I believe these Haas' came from the Philadelphia, Pa. area, where there was several families of Haas' in that area. Apparently Catherine Haas had passed away prior to the 1850 Census causing the rest of the family to be split up in various friends and family. If you have any information about Catherine Haas Mayberry please let me know. Thanks, Frank Mayberry in Muskogee, Oklahoma Bryan Haas wrote: > Posted on: HAAS Queries > Board URL: http://cgi.rootsweb.com/~genbbs/genbbs.cgi/surnames/h/a/HAAS/queries?read=19 > > Surname: Haas, Has > ------------------------- > > Looking for specific sources on Peter Haas born between 1798 and 1801 in > Cumru Twp, Berks County, Pa., son of Frederick Has... > > ============================== > Search ALL of RootsWeb's mailing lists in real time. > RootsWeb's Personalized Mailing Lists: > http://pml.rootsweb.com/
