Kate: If you will go to my homepage (address below) and click on My Genealogies you will find information on this family. I spent almost 10 years researching this line and could never actually prove it tied to my Haas line. My page does not include my source notes but I'll be happy to send them to you if you wish. I can tell you that there was (I don't know if there still is) a lot of controversy about this family and the other Haas/Hause family in the area. Some people believe there is no connection between the two families and others believe there is. There was also a lot of misinformation circulating while I was researching this line. Misinformation was being picked up and presented as fact by a lot of researchers.
