Hi Linda, Please do!! Right now I'm in the process of typing up HAAS birth/marriage/death data for the 1800-1830+ period that I've extracted from the communities in the district of Wissembourg, Bas-Rhin, Alsace, FR. (primarily so that I can read it better than I can my own scrawls and photocopies made at a rushed 3-day visit to Salt Lake City last October.) I haven't obtained data on ALL the communities in that district yet, but I could send you what I do have, if you would like to post them as well, after I finish transcribing them. By the way, the list you now have from me was sent as a plain-text email, which lost the fact that it was at least tabulated in my original Word 6.0 document. I could try sending it to you as a formatted document if that would help you. And I really like your website. I see that your article on the use of Land Records was published in the Journal of the Western NY Genealogical Society (to which I belong). That topic intrigues me. When I was in the Erie County Courthouse in Buffalo researching probate records, I wandered to the other side of the building where the mortgage and deed records are kept. I was totally boggled! It's a huge area, packed with zillions of those books. I admit I didn't ask any questions of anyone then, and I had no idea of how to begin searching that vast database. Cheers! ~~~Paul ----- Original Message ----- From: Linda Haas Davenport <lhaasdav@mindspring.com> To: <HAAS-L@rootsweb.com> Sent: Monday, January 31, 2000 6:20 AM Subject: Re: [HAAS-L] HAAS's at Forest Lawn Cemetery, Buffalo, NY Paul you would mind if I add this to my Haas homepage?
