Greetings in the year 2000. My greatgrandmother was a Anna Haas from Baden, and her parents were from Baden. She was born in 1840 according to the 1880 census. She married Daniel C. Scherrer and they lived in Detroit Michigan. She had 10 children and I am still researching and haven't found her death date. Daniel died in 1911. I know where he is buried but haven't been to the cemetery yet. Don't know if she had relatives here or not. Children were Daniel C. b 1858 Lillian b 1860? Leonard F. b. 1861 Anna b 1865 Francisca b 1867 Ida b 1870 Reinhardt b 1873 Catharine b 1875 Benjamin b 1878 John F. b 1882 They were catholic Germans and lived in the the German part of Detroit. I wish us all success in the coming year with our family history.
