Hello Jane, I had a message from someone else asking me about this family..... seems the Trexler Family is also inter-related with the Haas and Breinig Families several times... I need to try to get it worked out in my mind before I can actually help you out, There is supposed to be a "History of the Haas Family" by Arthur Haas... I haven't seen it, but it sounds like something to look into... also, the Trexler Family may have info about the Haas's. I'll send you a message privately.... maybe we can figure some of this out. Hi List! I was searching the Cemeteries of West Virginia for my ggrandma Catherine Haas/Hass - dau of Peter and Mary of Hampshire County, Va (now WV). I figure she died prior to the 1850 Census, due to the split of the family serveral living with other friends and relatives. During this search I ran onto this one and only Haas, Dorothy Eileen - buried in the Mineral County Cemetery as follows: http://www.rootsweb.com/~wvminera/nethkin.html Haas, Dorothy Eileen 9/27/1914 - 2/27/1920 Hoping this will help someone down the line, who is looking for her. Good Morning everyone: I've been posted snippets of information from my PML service to the list for the past couple of months or so. I'm now involved in a project that is taking so much time that I can't find the time it takes to do this anymore. If you are interested in receiving these postings yourself you can sign up with Rootsweb. The cost is $24.00 a year. You can request as many surnames as you wish (Haas is only one of the ones I receive). Here is where you get the info and you can sign up. http://www.rootsweb.com/rootsweb/how-to-subscribe.html and see SPONSOR. Hope you decide to join. The Personalized Mailing List is simply great !!
