Researching the family of Mary Haas born abt. 1870. Parents and siblings are unknown. She was married to Frank Dach whose date of birth is unknown. They had a daughter named Annie Martha Dach. Annie was born on March 1, 1894 in High Hill, Fayette Co., Texas. She was married to Andrew John Reinders in Milam Co., Texas on November 26, 1812. I have found another Haas family tree on the internet that lived in Schulenburg, Fayette County, Texas. I'm not sure if they are related but would be interested in hearing from anyone related to this family. Found a really neat site. This site lets you enter dates for your ancestor and builds you an individual time line for the dates you enter. It even lets you enter personal events in your ancestor's life and those will be added into the time line. You can print it or copy and save it for use in your own genealogy. Things have been a bit slow on the list so how about this? Rather than asking for a roll call - let's do something called a "sound off" List your earliest known person - his/her date of birth - county & state and key surnames in that same location that are connected. Then a list of the married couples you are looking for that descend from the 1st ancestor you listed - his & her date of birth - county & state (leave out the kids) End the e-mail with your name, e-mail address & homepage address (URL) if you have one. I'll send one to get us started. Hi, My Uncle Jess Haas was from Randolph County, AR. Perhaps your is a distant relative of his somehow. Jesse died many years ago, fairly young. I was very young at the time. I haven't gotten too far with my Haas side of the family, yet. Hi Joseph: Thanks so much for taking the time to sign my guest book. I really appreciate it. I'm afraid I can't be of much help on your family. My Davenports were in NC from the early 1700s until this current generation. My Haas family stops for me in 1810 in TN. But, I wish you the best of luck and drop back by now and again. Oh - are you aware there is a DeHass/DeHaas e-mail list? You might want to join and see what everyone else has that might be of help. Hays family and Davenports were neighbors and some of the First settlers around the 1790's along the Ohio River south of Fort Pitt. Town First named Hays Station then Davenport is between Sisterville and Friendly WV. The Hays Family i have linked to an Adam Hays born in Del. 1730. There is a tale that links the Hays Family to Johannes DeHaes who arrived in New Amsterdam (NY) around 1652 from Holond? Have you any insite? Joe Hays

Would anyone have information on the HAAS/HAHS family that migrated from Lincoln county NC to Perry and Cape girardeau County Missouri. On my GreatGGGrandmother was Mary Ann Clay she was born in the early 1790's and died in 1843 on her will it lists the head of her estate as Christopher Hahs I think he may have been her father. Could someone please tell me about this family and especially Christopher Hahs . Thanks again Angela Clark
Angela I believe we have spoken before but in case I am mistaken you might want to take a look at my home page (below) and check out My Genealogy. I have extensive information on the Simon Haas and Jacob Hauss (Haas) families from NC. The Clays did intermarry with the Haas'. Perhaps you can find a connection. You might also want to check out "Lots of Names" on my site and look at my "Orphan" file. I have snippets of unconnected information on a lot of Haas'. Good Luck.
