    3. Cheryl, I have Guinns from South Carolina. The name has been spelled many ways in the years since then. I know that they were in the area of Sevier Co, TN. This was apart of SC. the only information I have about the family is that my ggggrandfather was John B. Guinn. I have nothing else about the family. Sometime I think they just fell off a rock or something. I do have his children and the locations of their graves. They moved to GA and are listed on the 1830 census in Dade county. I have never found anyone else trying to find a Guinn, Gwyn, Guin family in that area and time frame. 2. Do you have any info. on a Gwyn/Guinn family from NC? My Abraham/Abel Gwyn is in Watauga county NC in 1850 and may have been in Johnson and Carter county Tn. in 1830-40. He stays in Watauga county(later Mitchell co. and then Avery) until 1860 and then only his wife (Nancy) is there with her daughter and son in law in 1870. She is gone after that. Any connecton you have would be appreciated. In the tennessee deeds there are several Gwyns in Sevier and Greene counties. if you need any of that info. I can get it at our library as we live in Greene co. Becky Quoting weldon moore <[email protected]>: > Cheryl, I have Guinns from South Carolina.
