I am not sure where he fits into the family. I can't place him with even one other Gwin, Gwinn, Guin, or Guinn family. He seemed to follow the same geographic pattern as the Reverend William Guinn of Grundy County, TN. His marriage license was in Washington Co, TN in 1786/1787, then he was in Carter County, then Warren County, then Franklin County and died in Jackson County, AL circa 1830. He seems to have always had young children in his household. The only known child was a "three year old son, Charles, "a mulatto child", who was indentured in 1791. His wife's name was Dorcas/Darkus Williams. She may have been Indian. That is about all the information ANYONE can find on him. Very elusive. Thanks for looking. Maybe someone will run across him.
