    2. Hi Paul, BY any chance does your book have anything in it about Samuel Guinn/Gwin(n) who died in Surry Co, NC before 1785 (will abstract below). I am hoping to find out who his parents were, where they came from, and hopefully, which one of his daughters married Joseph England. I know that his daughter Margaret married Daniel England, but know really nothing about any of his other children. Surry Co, NC will abstract book : 2:60a Will of Samuel Guinn, 7 JUL 1784. Wife Deborah. Son: John Guin, 5 sh sterl and no more. Sons Samuel, Nathaniel, Foster and William get land after their mother's death. 9 children: Samuel, Nathaniel, Andrew, William, Rebekah, Suannah, Jean, Margaret, and Isabella--will divide the moveable estate. Exrs: wife and Valentine Reece who is to bind sone William to some good trade. Wit:Daniel Bills, Samuel Guinn, Jr , Jabez Jarvis. Prvd by Jabez Jarvis and rec. Feb Ct. 1785. {NOTE: Surry Count Minutes of Cour of P & Q's show the Valentine Reese qualified 16 FEB 1785, inventory returned 14 NOV 1787. On the 1782 tax list, Samuel Guinn is shown with 200 A on Forbish Creek. The 1785 tax list of Capt. Wright shows Deborah Guinn with 200 A, no polls. The 1786 tax lists shows her with same listing and Samuel Gwin (sic) with 1 wp. The 1786 State census, Capt. Krouse's distric, show Deborah Gqin (sic) with 1 wm 21-60, 1 wm-21-60+, 2 wf. 2:96a Inv. of Saml. Gwin decd incl 200A, Bible given to son Samuel and one to son Nathaniel. Wit: Valentine (X) Reese.
