Davine, I have Guinns from SC. My ggggrandfather was John B. Guinn. I think the B was Byron. he was born in SC and moved to Sevier Co., TN. from there to Dade Co., GA. He married Sarah Varnell in Sevier co., TN in 1807. They had these children: 1. Mary Ann b. 1813 2. Covington abt 1811 3. Jesse Pierce 1825 4. Charles Tellis (my gggrandfather) b. July 4, 1821 5. Sarah Jane May 23, 1828 6. Matilda b. 1808 All born in Sevier co., TN. Any connection?
