No one in the family would give any information on him so it has been a long search. I am thankful to you. His mother was half Creek and half Cherokee. His father is white and born in Kansas. His race was listed as Indian, hers as white. He had not attended school since 19 Sep 1919, but she had. Both could read, write, and speak English. His occupation was listed as battery expert, hers as none. He and both his parents were born in Oklahoma; she and both her parents were born in Missouri. However, on Apr. 4, 1930, a John P. Gwin, age 28, was listed as living on E. 2nd St., Tulsa, OK. He was single, Indian, a welder by trade, and a native of Oklahoma.
