    3. Andrew J Gwin/Guinn born 1807 Black Mountain Buncombe/Burke NC believe he is the Grandson of Samuel Guinn and Deborah of Surry County NC. Deborah and some of their children moved to Burke after Samuel death. We have done DNA but no close matches. This family includes Margaret Guinn that married Daniel England. There is some indications that two of her sisters married other England relatives. Sent from my iPhone > On Jan 27, 2016, at 2:00 AM, [email protected] wrote: > > > > Today's Topics: > > 1. My known and documented Gwins go back to Isham Gwin who married Mary Canterbury in western Virginia in 1787. They moved to and lived some 20 years in what?s today the Wear Valley of Sever Co., TN, then moved to southern Indiana, finally settling in Orange Co., IN, where he became the first pastor of Providence Primitive Baptist Church and served there until just before his death in Dec. 1830 in his mid 60?s. > > They had at least eleven and probably twelve children. > > I?ve told their story on his Findagrave.com <http://findagrave.com/> memorial?his name is spelled there as Isom Gwin?at http://www.findagrave.com/cgi-bin/fg.cgi?page=gr&GSln=gwin+&GSfn=isom&GSbyrel=all&GSdyrel=all&GSob=n&GRid=42583195&df=all& > > ------------------------------ > > To contact the GWIN list administrator, send an email to > [email protected] > > To post a message to the GWIN mailing list, send an email to [email protected] > > __________________________________________________________ > To unsubscribe from the list, please send an email to [email protected] > with the word "unsubscribe" without the quotes in the subject and the body of the > email with no additional text. > > > End of GWIN Digest, Vol 8, Issue 4 > **********************************
