Alonzo Guthrie is the son of John C. Guthrie. He was born abt. 1835 in Ohio. The Guthrie family moved to Madison County, Iowa mid-1850's. Alonzo married Isabella M. Holeman, daughter of William Holeman of Parke County, Indiana,on September 21, 1863 in Madison County, Iowa. Isabella was born in Parke County, Indiana. The Holeman family relocated to Madison County, Iowa approximately 1860. By 1870, Alonzo and Isabella relocated to Clarke County, Iowa where they raised their family. Any information on the Guthrie and Holeman family would be greatly appreciated. Thank you. Jane Andrew
