    3. Could I have some links for this please? I just Googled the info with no luck - will try the newspapers there too. I'm very interested as I haven't been able to find the parents of my husband's ancestor Lewis Guthrie, who was born in Kentucky in 1816 and showed up by the 1830s in Shelby County. According to all census records with such information, his parents were born in KY also.
