Does anyone know if Frederick Guthrie, ca 1763-1849, of the Spartenburg Co., SC. area belongs to any of the family units that you have been talking about? He seems to have come there from Edgecomb Co., NC. My lineage is a Joseph Guthrie that was a nephew of Frederick's.
