Apparently, William Guthrie(died 1840) was married to Elizabeth Snider (died 1839). The 1820 census lists his name and indicates there were several members of the household. He did not move to Alabama about 1832 when his son's family moved. I don't know where William and Elizabeth are buried. He had one son, William Jackson Guthrie, who was born about 1807, married Hannah Weaver(historical record of Georgia marriages)in Coweta County, GA in 1828 and had a son born there in 1830 (William Jackson Guthrie, Jr.) About 1832, William Jackson, Jr. and Hannah moved to what is now Bullock County, Alabama. They and most of their descendants for the next two generations, are buried in Mt. Hiliard Cemetery, 10 miles west of Union Springs, Alabama. Thanks, Richard Guthrie
