Surnames: Guthrie Classification: Query Message Board URL: http://boards.ancestry.com/mbexec/msg/rw/IBh.2ACIB/1269 Message Board Post: I am trying to calculate the arrival of a branch of Guthrie from one Frederick Guthrie, born in Edgecombe Cnty, in approximately 1763. have not been able to go much further than that. read somewhere that there was a fair number of them that came to the Piedmont Valley ( not sure where that is), from Virginia and Pennsylvania, so I'm not sure if I should search those places for record or not
