Hello fellow Guthrie researchers. I am new to this list and and very hopeful someone out there in cyberland will be able to help me with my Guthrie line. I am looking for any information regarding Amanda/Miranda Guthrie of Georgia. She was born Oct. 16, 1823. Her father was John L. Guthrie born in 1797 in South Carolina. Her mother was Elizabeth Sweat born in 1795 in Georgia. Amanda/Miranda was married to Hezekiah Vickery in Berrien County and had several children with him. I have found them on the 1860 census living next door to her parents. Can't wait to share, Ouida Stark Brumley Martin
