Out of the 8 children mentioned in the first chapter, two of the girls- Ann and Patience- married and went to NC. If I'm remebering correctly, their families were supposed to have gone to Texas. The book is out of print but the author will send out copies. I got her name from the Indiana Historical Society. I started this research a few years ago and have the book in my attic but cannot recall her name although I do remember she finished the book when her mother died.
