I looked up Covenanter's on the internet and found three ships that left the British Isles with Covenanter's on board. One sank almost before it got started, a second turned around. The Henry and Francis made it to New Jersey and sounded like the ship Mel was talking about. However I know of no passenger list for the ship. That was the point I was making. There may have been Guthrie's on board but as you so aptly put it "Who Knows". I have information on a couple of Daniel Guthrie's of the 1700's.
