He married Frances Jones Mershon who was divorced from ARden Rucker Mershon. Frances and Simeon had one daughter named Frances Guthrie who married Frederick Stewart in Columbus, GA in 1860. They had two children, Fred and Charles. I cannot find them on any census but they lived in Macon GA I'm told. Fallonfox@aol.com
