Surnames: Guthre,Flanagan, Ryan Classification: Query Message Board URL: http://boards.ancestry.com/mbexec/msg/an/IBh.2ACIB/1310.1 Message Board Post: I have a Patrick Guthrie arrd from Ireland about 1845 (wife Mary Flanagan) and their eldest son, Pat'k, about 20 yrs old arrd in 1849. They were all at DuPont Gunpowder works in Delaware, but the younger Pat'k disappears after about 1850. Perhaps he went west? The age would be about right. Also, the elder Pat'k was brought over by Michael Guthrie, a father, brother, or uncle. John, Mary and Kate were all siblings' names, altho so common, may not mean much!
