I have a posting on this board Sept 27. I have run across at least 2 lines of Guthries not connected to my line. It seems your Henry CLay doesn't fit the time frame. Almost all the sons of my Henry were in the Civil War and most in the Army of TN. What states are you looking at and what other Guthrie info do you have? I am dead ended on my Henry Guthrie when he was born in 1812 in Newton Co., GA. morrisgu@bellsouth.net
