His descendants went to Georgia, Tennessee and were prominent in Walker County, Alabama, at the time of the Civil War. Then some of them (including my great-grandfather and grandmother) moved to Texas. Born About 1756 in SC. Died 1825 in Hall Co., Ga. Occupation Home Maker. Religion Pri. Baptist. She was a charter member of the Holly Springs Pri. Baptist Church in Elbert Co., Ga. founded 6 Feb 1796. It was formed on 3 Jan 1795 as a arm of the Dove Creek Church. On 23 Feb 1801 she sold some land to William Mauge and on 16 Feb 1801 sold land to Charles Henry. In 1821 she won land lottery in Monroe Co., Ga.
