Sneed found her grave in Granby Mo. marker states daughter of John A. Sneed wife of John Guthrie, on the same stone Stella Guthrie Oct.9 1879-Dec.20 1879. John was married to Lavina E. Guthrie they had a baby girl three months later. The early census taken in Jan. 1880 shows Thomas age 8 Maud age 6 and Walter age 3. Second wife sent the boys away Maud is gone don't know if they gave her to a family member because of belonging to first wife or not, she may have died.
