Mary Guthrey, w/f, died June 11, 1865 in Halifax County, Va. She was 75 yrs. old, place of birth was Halifax County, and cause of death was `age`. Unknown Mary , mother. Unknown Guthrey , consort. John Guthrey, informant (head of family). I am fairly certain that this woman was Mary Bostick, who married Allen Guthrey on 26 Dec. 1812. Her parents were Absolem Bostick and Mary Petty. Also, I am researching the following surnames: Anderson, Parker, Guthrey, Bostick, Petty, Williams, Kirk and Wilkes, all having ties to Halifax Co., Va. Emily
