    3. >From JoAnne McCoy Webb Peachtree City, GA Hello Guthrie Researches, My gg grandfather was James Guthrie, son of Carter. James was born 1827 in TN, married in TN to Elvira Randolph b. 1831 TN. The first time I find James and Elvira is in the 1850 Census of Madison Co AR in Richland twp. By the 1860 Census of Madison Co AR, Elvira is dead and James is married to Nancy __?___ 19 years old. By 1870 James and Nancy are gone. Most of James and Elvira's daughers marry and stay in Madison Co. Where did James and Nancy go? The only date I have for James is that he was born in 1827. I would love to know where he lived after Madison Co and where he died and is buried. He had two sons John and James, where did they go? CHILDREN: 1. John b. 1849 TN 2.
