This is a long shot but maybe you have run across something that we could connect on. Most of my work has been in Walton, Newton, then Cobb and Walker Counties. I traced 2 or 3 Williams in searching for the parents and siblings of my Henry Guthrie, b 1812 (I think). It's my feeling that they came from SC or VA but I have no proof. Henry was in Newton Co in 1830, Cobb in 1850 and his family moved to the Cullman AL area about 1860. Have you found any prospects that could be siblings or parents that could be connected?
