While it is good to keep a query short and succinct it would be helpfull to me if dates were included in the query. A query such as "James Guthrie father of William married to Elizabeth" is not of much use. Without a date and a place it would be very hard to make a connection. A short paragraph containing all the information known would enable me to be much more helpful. Especially dates, all places they lived, siblings, etc. Also some of you are asking for information for folks that lived in the 20th century. And that's OK, but you might be able to find more information faster using the census records and public records. For instance if the person had a Social Security Card, the application generally lists the parents names. Larry lguthrie@brightok.net
