John James (Jim) was married to my great grandmother Rachel Luvennie Parthenia Frost Guthrie Biggers. I will email you directly and give you what I have.

My husband is a descendant of Lewis Henry Guthrie, b. abt. 1816 in KY. He apparently married Ann Cook in Shelby County KY, had a son James W. He was apparently single and in Indiana by 1860 (Fayette and Wayne counties) and married a woman named Rebecca. They had at least six children among them Charles M., Ora, William Owen, Guy A., Henry and Louisa. According to the census, Lewis's parents were also from KY. I suspect that their parents were from Virginia but this is just a educated guess. I welcome any information and will be happy to share what I have. Martha

Last record was in January 1880 with him listed with a three year old daughter, a six year and nine year old sons, next listing he has the sons the daughter is not listed. Until July 1880 and she is listed as a bound child and none of the family even knew she existed.
