She was born in 1853 in Lawrence County, Ohio (Quaker Bottom Twsp). She married my great grandfather Samuel Patrick Ferguson in Ironton, Lawrence County, Ohio. Samuel's father, Elisha Ferguson, witnessed the marriage in 1874. Elisha Ferguson is listed in the Lawrence County, Kentucky census. Eustatia's parents were William H. Guthrie and Mary Marks. William Henry Guthrie was born in West Virginia (I believe in Huntington) and Mary Marks was born in East Virginia. Can anyone share pictures of any of these Guthries who migrated from W. Scott's Chapel Cemetery These cemeteries records are from Mr. Bill Henderson's collection which we believe were done before 1962 and include National, Prairie Grove, Pin Oak, Scott's Chapel and Valley View cemeteries. The latest death date I believe was 1961. We think they may be of some assistance to others since some markers might have been destroyed, lost or moved when other inventories were made. We thank Mrs. Henderson for donating them to the Society along with his collection of obituaries which are online also. I can't figure it out. It is obvious she and I don't interpret data on the same track. We don't think alike. Why does she spend so much time in tearing apart my reports. My reports were as accurate and complete as they could be. Is she rewriting them? what sense is all this? I have done everything possible to be supportive. All I can say is if she wants to control the Indexing Project and make major goofs may God Bless her and let her have it. While speaking of GRC, there are two parts to this program. Number 1 is supposed to be focus on copying what we will call "Miscellaneous" Records. That is copying will records, Church Records, Deeds, Cemetery records,Censuses, marriage- birth-death records, etc. and prepare these records for binding into books. #2 Indexing projects focuses on indexing books that do not have indexes, or have bad indexes is preserving work done in the past. Some of the earlier books have deteriorated and these books are being retyped. These are two separate categories. It has been confusing to chapters in filling out the questionaire. Some adjustments have been made to the question which may lead to more accurate numbers. Madlyn ------=_NextPart_000_00F1_01C54F72.CEFF96D0--

I am a retired Hoosier from Madison County residing in the Philippines with my Filipino wife. We are seeking family and military information about servicemen from your county killed in the South Pacific during World War II. There are 17,206 Americans buried here and thousands more that are missing or buried at sea and are honored on the “Tablets of the Missing”. Please visit our website to see the beautiful memorial located in Manila, Philippines. http://fizkid.tripod.com/ My wife and I visited the cemetery as visitors and left with a mission in our heart. We have been taking photographs of the graves of the Indiana servicemen buried here and have been uniting them (at no charge) with their family members in Indiana and across the United States. To receive the photo of your family member, neighbor or friend all you need is a working email address. We do not send them to regular mailing addresses due to the costs. Please help us find the families of the men that might still be living. Our project is only successful because of teamwork and your contributions are noted on our website. If you wish to help us we will be pleased to add your name to our ACKNOWLEDGMENT page on the website. The obituaries usually did not appear till to three months after the death date. If you are not a genealogist you can help by just picking up the telephone directory and find someone with the same last name and give them a call. It has worked many times for us. Hi Larry Thank you very much for all this information. I have managed to track down to the grandchildren by two of his sons, David and Patrick, but I am having no luck with his other sons. I cannot even find a birth record on Scotlandspeople for Thomas and Alexander. Supposedly, my Catherine Guthrie is Thomas Guthrie's great granddaughter, but I haven't found the link yet! My daughter in law is the great granddaughter of Catherine. Anne in Victoria BC -----Original Message----- From: Larry J.
