William Henry was born in 1850 in VA and married Luciana Turk of OH. John Robert was born in 1851 in VA and married Martha Ann Turk of OH in 1867. Other siblings of these brothers were born in OH. The sisters were the daughters of Hiram and Elizabeth Turk of OH. I will begin searching the 1860 census for those Guthrie brothers in every OH county until I find them or have to give up. Any clues to make my task shorter would be appreciated. Thanks.

Hi, I am interested in finding out some information on the Guthrie family of Western Oklahoma in Washita County. This is what I have so far. Robert Lee Guthrie was married to Mary Kitchens. They lived in East Texas in Rusk County around Minden Texas and then moved to Oklahoma. They had children I don't know all the names one was William Elmo who marrier Bernice Dibble and lived in Washita County Oklahoma around Burns Flat Oklahoma. He had a brother named Buddy who lived around Burns Flat too. He had another brother named Everett who lived in Oklahoma City. He had a sister named Crickett who lives in Norman Oklahoma. William Elmo and Bernice died in the late 1990's. They had 7 children the oldest Ronald Neal Guthrie lives in Woodard, Carolyn who is marrier Darryl Murray and lives around Burns Flat, Ok., Donna who is married to Carl Sanvey and also lives in Western Oklahoma, Darryl Kent Guthrie who lives in Oklahoma City, W E Guthrie who lives in Fort WOrth, Texas, Stephen Gut! hrie who lives in Oklahoma City and Theresa who lives in Barttlesville, OK> Thanks, Michele

Juliett was the daughter of Samuel and Catharine Darling Pancake of Coshocton Ohio and Blandinsville, Illinois. Samuel, later of Salt Lake City, Utah. Boyd Guthrie was the director of the Colorado Anvil Project in the 1960s. His papers are in a collection at the University of Utah. Are there any children for Boyd and Anora Guthrie?
