I have now located a picture of her with an older girl and John and two sons (Walter & Tom). There is a possibility that instead of dying she was 'divorced' and sent away with the girl due to being possibly indian or Melongeon (sp?). These are all just supportless clues I've been told of late and need verification. Supposedly, Emily/Emanda and John married in Kentucky. John was born about 1845 and died in 1923. Any help would be appreciated. There is one person that claims Emanda/Emily is listed on an indian roll in Arkansas but no proof of that has been given. Lee Guthrie Maui, HI

HIS FALL PROVES FATAL Mr. John A. Guthrie Dies in Maryland General Hospital. After a 24 hour fight for lige at the Maryland General Hospital, Mr. John A. Guthrie, 66 years old, 3818 East Pratt street, Highlandtown, died at 9 o'clock yesterday morning. Mr. Guthrie was injured by falling from the fourth floor of a new building at Bouldin and Preston streets at 9 o'clock Thursday morning, while painting. Besides his widow, Mrs. Adeline P.
