My grandfather, James, was born in Oklahoma and he was 8 at the time of the census.

I have been following Fredrick in Spartanburg in an effort to find a connection to my oldest known ancestor, Henry Guthrie, Gutry, Guthry, etc. Henry was born 1812 in either SC or GA, maybe the old 96th. He was down in Newton Co, Ga in 1834 to about 1845. I have been unable to find any siblings or parents. Some evidence seems to indicate the family was dispersed for some reason. Henry Married Manerva Lyons in Newton in 1834. I would appreciate any info you could share about Fredrick and Shadrack's decendants. Morris

My ancestor was Joseph Guthrie, born June 1810 in South Carolina. I don't believe he is Fredrick's son Joseph, although they have the same birth year, but I believe he was one of Frederick's brothers sons. Not sure which one. My Joseph married Sarah Jones and moved to Henderson County,Texas. After Joseph & Sarah's oldest son ( Andrew Jackson Guthrie) died, his widow married Fredrick's son, Edmond M. Guthrie in Henderson County,Tx. Do you have a list of Frederick's siblings and their children. I would love to find out who the parents of my Joseph were?
