His son Walter was born in 1875 and his son (my dad) was born in 1930. Walter was way old when dad was born. My real mystery is John's first wife Emanda Sneed. I am not positive about her first name it could be Emily. She was rumoured to have died in Kentucky, and the baby girl died later. John married an Elizabeth Daily and had several more children. One of those descendents is who gave me as much info as I have now. I can find nothing on Emanda. There is speculation she did not die but was sent away with the child because she was Indian. Lee
