Taylor was the son of John Gulick and Miriam Taylor. John and Miriam were born in the early 1780's in VA. and moved around 1820 to Ohio with their children--and John's father, Ferdinand. Ferdinand was a Revolutionary War Patriot and I need only one proof of lineage for a DAR application on him which would be proof that Taylor was John's son. The books written on the Gulick's failed to site their specific references, so the DAR will not accept them for proof of lineage. A Bible record would be just what I need.
