Many people have written to ask about the List Archives. Messages posted to the list since its inception are stored and are searchable. Go to http://listsearches.rootsweb.com/cgi-bin/listsearch.pl? Enter the name of the list (e.g. BROWN ). Do not enter the -l or -d suffix. Click on "submit query." On the next page, enter your search arguments (like a first name or a location), choose a year, and click on Search.
