Some folks have asked me why no one responds to their posts on the maillist. Chances are the unanswered queries either had an uninspired Subject, or the query itself was vague or incomplete. When busy people to read all their email, many skip messages which have subjects like "Family History" or "Brick Wall" or the surname (only) on a surname list. There is a good article written by Penny Bonnar, "Query With Precision" with pointers to more information located at: http://www.iigs.org/newsletter/9901news/query.htm.en (note - the links found at the end of the article to Treasure Maps and Terry Day's column are not working, but the other three are) Good luck!
