    2. This is a Message Board Post that is gatewayed to this mailing list. Author: jengwyn Surnames: Classification: queries Message Board URL: http://boards.rootsweb.com/surnames.gulick/97.112.1.1.1/mb.ashx Message Board Post: I am descended from Willet Bogart Taylor (son of Gilbert Bogart Taylor who married Lydia Annin). He had a son Gilbert Bogart Taylor who had two children before he died young: Almyra Dott Taylor and another Gilbert Bogart Taylor (actually born a day or two after his father had died). I am descended from Almyra Dott Taylor. Thank you for your information about your family Bible. It sounds like a gem. I don't suppose though it lists any family relationship of Willet. I need some sort of proof that Willet was the son of Gilbert and Lydia for the DAR. It is the only piece of necessary missing information in my returned information. (The DAR wouldn't accept online family trees or a will that had his name as executor, but not his relationship to his father, or a family census record from Michigan 1850 that had miswritten name as William, with two Williams in the family). I have tried Census, Baptism searches, obituaries, Civil War pension folders, Gilbert's will, cemetery records, marriage records and land deeds and everything else I could think of, but nothing turned up. I very much appreciate your response though. Thank you. jengwyn@msn.com Important Note: The author of this message may not be subscribed to this list.
