I have recently found this place, and I hope that someone can help me to find three ancestors that emigrated to USA in 1909 and in the period 1925-1932. The two who emigrated in 1909, was Gullik and Anna Bertine Dildok (Dildock), to Chicago. The third is Gust (Gustav), to Seattle. They were brothers and sisters, and their full surname was originally Gulliksen Dildok. I have not found any Dildok/Dildock in my searching. My theory is that they changed their surname, e.g. to Gulliksen/Gullicksen/Gullickson or maybe Gulick. If you have informations that can help me trace these three ancestors, I would appreciate it very much. Sincerely Jan Gulliksen

Hello, I have just signed up for this mailing list and this is my 1st posting. My Gulick ancestors came from Ireland and lived in Lambertville NJ. The earliest I can trace them to this area is 1850. Matthew Gulick born in Ireland around 1823. Married Rose. Peter Gulick (probably Matthew's brother married Ellen or Emily in 1866. Matthew and Rose had a daughter Bridget who married a Michael Carmody my husband GGrandfather. If anyone has anything to add to this or if there is anything I can share please contact me. Judy
I am looking for information on Alfred Van Buren Gulick. He was born about 1865 in Illinois, I believe. He married Anna Delana West in 1888. She was born in 1869, also in Illinois. I have almost nothing on his parents, except they were Alfred Gulick, born about 1800 in Virginia and Nancy (unknown maiden name). I would appreciate any help on Alfred V. B. Gulick or his father.
