My grandfather is Lamar Gross of Lavelle,Schuylkill co.. his fathers name was John L Gross..i can't find anything on his father..I know his mother was Catharine {Kate} Derr.. I'm going to get a search done at the church and see if they have anything on him... It seems that maybe Catharine wasn't married to John's father,because she went by her maiden name in her will and when she bought the old homestead in Lavelle.. Joanne
