Anna Mary Strange was born May 3, 1915 in Joplin Missouri to Joseph James Strange and Venita Teutsch, who were married February 4, 1914. The marriage ended in divorce while Joseph was in the Army during WWI. Venita later married a Wallace William Rhine and the family was enumerated in the 1930 census of Tulsa Oklahoma. Wallace and Venita lived in Fontana California from about 1945 until their deaths (he in 1969 and she in 1998). Anna Mary was married at least twice before 1950, when she was married to an unknown Nagle and lived in Los Angeles. She was still in Los Angeles in 1969 when her stepfather died. When she died in 1993 her last name was Gross and her Social Security death record indicates her residence was in Las Vegas, Clark County, Nevada. No obituary appeared in a local paper, so her place of death may have been elsewhere. Finding more information about Anna Mary would help complete a chapter in o! ur family's history. Her father was my wife's grandfather and the family never saw her again after 1919. Her half-sister (my mother-in-law) would like to know if there are any living descendants and would like to share a picture of Anna Mary taken about 1918.
