I have a Susanna Gross born in Maxatawny Twp. on 22 Dec. 1765, daughter of a John Gross. I don't have his dates, but I wonder if this is the same as your John, son of Wilhelm? Susanna married Jacob Christ (1764-1833) in Reading on 27 Sept. 1785. She died in Pine Grove (Schuylkill Co.) on 14 March 1821. I'd be happy to exchange information.
