(That particular document comes from Antero and Jorma Leitzinger, Helsinki, 1999). This is some of the lineage as reported to me... Rev. Henry (Heinrich) Leutzinger b.2 APR 1831 p. Nettstal, Canton Glarus, Switzerland m. 15 SEP 1868 p. Waterloo, Ontario d. 8 JUL 1913 p.Butterfield Twp., Missaukee County, MI (buried in Moddersville Cemetary) Henry married: Caroline ("Carrie"?) Grosz Leutzinger (my great, great, great grandmother) b. 12 AUG 1847 p. born at sea d. 30 Aug 1932 Together they had 15 children, the fourth oldest being my great, great grandmother. Her name was: Catherine (Kathrina) Leutzinger b. 8 OCT 1874 p. Hessville, OH m. 24 NOV 1892 p. Missaukee County, MI d. 15 DEC 1962 Catherine married John Case Briggs, they had a son Ephraim Beeman Briggs, and he is the father of Mary Ruth Briggs, my maternal grandmother. Caroline Grosz's parents were Adam Grosz and Kathrina Schuester/Shuster. I am in the process of finding more information on them. Henry (Heinrich) Leutzinger was the son of Johann Jakob Leutzinger and Anna Maria Weber. He emigratied to America around 1854 and then went on to Canada around 1867. Johann, his father, was a cobbler in Nettstal, Glarus, Switzerland. As I mentioned, I have access to information tracing the male Leutzinger line back quite a way, if you're interested in more on that line. Hope this helps! Tammy
