He was born in Michigan and was an inventor with five U.S. patents to his credit. I know he lived at least into the mid 1970s because of the patent records. His last known place of residence was Lebenon, Ohio. The name Gross was spelled Grosse originally but coincidently he and my father both removed the (e) from our name. Can you offer some insight?
