Surnames: Leutzinger/Gross/Schuester Classification: Query Message Board URL: http://boards.ancestry.com/mbexec/msg/an/IWg.2ACIB/1084.1 Message Board Post: According to research passed along to me, Caroline Grosz (my great, great, great grandmother) was the third child of Adam Grosz and Kathrina Schuester, born 12 Aug 1847 at sea on the voyage to America. She is supposed to have spent her childhood in Erbsville, Ontario. "Family lore" has it that she met Henry Leutzinger while he was a boarder in her family's home in Galt. They married 15 Sep 1868 in Waterloo (Woolwich), Ontario. He was in Canada as a Presbyterian Missionary to German-speaking Canadians. She died 30 Aug 1932. I have a bit more background info on Catherine (Kathrina) Leutzinger but nothing more on Adam Grosz or Kathrina Schuester at present.
