Surnames: Gross Classification: Query Message Board URL: http://boards.ancestry.com/mbexec/msg/an/IWg.2ACIB/1089 Message Board Post: I am looking for connections to the Gross and Strauss families of Isaac Gross and Philip Strauss who first came to America in 1855 and set up a dry goods business in Worcester, and their brothers Raphael Gross and Leopold Struss who joined them in 1860 and Hannah Gross (nee Strauss) who married Raphael in 1865 in Boston, settling in Worcester.
