    2. This is a Message Board Post that is gatewayed to this mailing list. Surnames: Gross, Grose, GroB, Yantz, Blouch Classification: Query Message Board URL: http://boards.ancestry.com/mbexec/msg/rw/IWg.2ACIB/1028.1.1.1 Message Board Post: Daneil GroB (the B is an esset) d. N. Lebanaon Twsp, Leb. Co, Pa. m. Catherine Ness son John Henry Grose, Sr. m. Molly Blouch d. Lebanon Co., Pa. children: John Henry Gross, Jr. m. Ada Yantz d. Lebanon Co, Pa. notice the changes in the spelling, in several documents I have, shows the GROB, looks a lot like GROSS (with the B almost sideways). GroB was changed to Grose when John Henry Sr. worked for the Railroad in Pa. John Henry Jr. then spelled it Gross. I have also noticed some GroB's became Grubb in the 1800's. Hope this helps. Jackie
