Freeman Gross, Jr. is the son of Freeman Gross and Susannah Bunce Deming, b 5 Sep 1732 Sarah White descended from John White, Jacob White, Capt. Nathaniel, Elder John White. Middletown Upper Houses, by Charles collard Adams, c 1908, p 660. Freeman Gross d Aug 17, 1764 of yellow fever in Guadaloop, West Indies. Widow Sarah Gross married John Collins 9 Jun 1767 in Cromwell, CT, by Rev. Edward Eells. Cromwell First Congregational Church, 1715-1875. Susanna Gross, dau. of Freeman Gross, Jr. and Sarah White, married Timothy Dodd in Hartford, 8 Jan 1777. I'm having difficulty finding the marriage record of Sarah White and Freeman Gross, and the birth of their daughter Susannah. I've talked to the Middletown Town Clerk and the records do not appear there. If anyone knows of public records for this link, I'd be most appreciative for a note.
