He married Anna Stines 03/18/1837. There children were: Peter, Mollie, Eliza, Sarah, Suzan, James, George, Martha, Danial, and William. I know that they were in Illinois and that both he and his wife died in Missouri. I noticed that a lot of the children's names were the same. Could Danial and Henry be brothers or perhaps cousins? What's your opinion? Thanks, Joyce

They started out in North Carolina, then migrated through Tennessee, up through Kentucky to the Birdseye, Indiana, area. Andrew Jackson (Jack) Gross served in the Union Army during the Civil War and died in Birdseye. I don't know whether any sonor sons of Jack dropped off in Kentucky on the migration to Indiana.

Then later moved to Missouri and Oklahoma (at least that is where my Ggrandparents ended up). We start with John born about 1822 in PA. Two sons Charles and Adam built one of the first hotels in Garden City, MO. They were also farmers. My Ggrandfather was John Wesley and he later had a graocey store in Muskogee, OK. in 1900's. Strange that we both have a John Wesley. I don't anything about John's (1822) family - siblings or ancestors. Let me know if you think we might connect. I really done a lot of research on the family - but I do have documentation on the info that I have.
